Beschreibung
Der metallische Außenring erfordert genauere Bearbeitung der Aufnahmebohrung. Das Einpressen bei der Montage ist etwas erleichtert und die axiale Bauhöhe ist genauer (z.B. bei Einsatz von zwei WDR Rücken an Rücken oder hintereinander).

Montage
WDR nach DIN 3760 werden in axial offene Aufnahmebohrungen eingepresst. (Nicht eingeschlagen!) Welle und Gehäuse müssen gerundete, ausreichende Einbaufasen haben.
Einsatzgebiete
Radial-Wellendichtringe (WDR) werden zur drucklosen Abdichtung rotierender Wellen bis ca. 35 m/s eingesetzt. In Einzelfällen kann max. 0,5bar bis zu 2,8 m/s erlaubt werden.
Die Dichtlippe kann zum Medium nach innen (z.B. Lager oder Getriebe) oder als Schmutz- und Staubabdichtung nach außen angeordnet werden.
