Beschreibung
Die Type 70A ist eine Stopfbuchspackung, gefertigt aus diagonal geflochtenem EGK®-Garn. Dieses Garn kombiniert einen Aramidkern für hohe mechanische Belastbarkeit mit einer PTFE/Grafit-Hülle, die chemische Beständigkeit und geringe Reibung bietet. Die Packung eignet sich für vielfältige Anwendungen, insbesondere in aggressiven Medien oder Medien mit Feststoffanteil und bei hoher mechanischer Beanspruchung, wie in Pumpen, Ventilen und Rührwerken. Nicht geeignet ist sie für geschmolzene Alkalimetalle und Fluorverbindungen bei hohen Temperaturen und Drücken sowie Sauerstoff. Sie bietet die Festigkeit von Aramid ohne dessen Nachteile.
